Acceptable recyclable:

Plastics: #1-#7 ( numbers located inside recycle symbol) Food, beverage bottles, jugs, tubs  (NO PLASTIC BAGS)

Metal: Steel and Aluminium cans (empty only)

Glass: bottles and Jars (no broken glass)

Cartons: Juice and soup boxes, milk cartons

Paper: Newspapers, flyers, mail, magazines, paper

Cardboard: Pizza, cereal,tissue, laundry, egg, paper

PLEASE DON'T SORT, BAG OR TIE

Not accepted:

Plastics: bags, cellophane, plastic cutlery, ice cream tubs, yogurt containers, food trays, toys, laundry baskets, plastics without the recycling triangle

Food foam and beverage containers: Disposable coffee cups, hot and cold beverage cups, foam cups, foam food containers, foam egg cartons, foam meat trays, foam packaging materials (peanuts)

Aluminum foil products: Aluminum foil, foil pie plates, foil food containers, wax paper

Glass: Drinking glasses, ceramics, broken glass, mirrors, window glass, light bulbs

Garbage and food waste: ANY materials contaminated by food waste-un -rinsed soup cartons, very greasy pizza boxes, food soiled containers, meat bones, animal wastes

Miscellaneous: cookware, steel  pots and pans, scrap metal, hangers, batteries, electronics, automotive parts, plumbing parts, paint cans, propane tanks, aerosol cans, clothing and shoes, syringes or needles
